2014
Apple Homecare was created by Jo Ardrey and Dennis Bacon. Both having a wealth of experience in health and social care, from Nursing to settling up and running successful care services. The vision was to create a small family-feel service to support Norfolk County Council and the people of Norfolk.
2015
Apple takes delivery of its fleet of 'Apple cars'. Many people who want to care for others do not have their own transport, so this created opportunity for some brilliant people to join the team.
2016
Apple achieves its first 'Good' rating from CQC
2018
Apple grows from word of mouth, and expands its team of carers to supporting people in Blofield, Brundall, Norwich, Hellesdon, Thorpe, Heartsease and Sprowston.....and counting!
2021
Apple moves its office to the city, creating an opportunity to operate in a new area.
2022
Apple remains a small and personal service, focusing on its core values and delivering care in line with the 'Mum test'.
At Apple we believe in the 'Mum test'. If it's not good enough for our own Mums or loved ones, then it's not good enough for you. This means we get the simple things right, and we focus on the details that can so often be missed. Our culture is explained to our carers from day 1, and they are trained so that this becomes second nature to them. In short, we go the extra mile.
